Wind Report Description: A severe thunderstorm moved slowly north northwest through Tulsa County and produced large hail and damaging winds. Thunderstorm winds up to 70 miles an hour downed trees, power lines, and fences in Broken Arrow, mainly between 71st and 101st Streets South and between 145th and 161st East Avenue, and thunderstorm winds gusted to 60 miles an hour in Owasso. Dime to half dollar size hail fell at various locations in the city of Tulsa, and dime size hail fell in Broken Arrow. Very heavy rainfall produced by the storm also resulted in flash flooding in the city of Tulsa. A creek flooded onto Memorial Drive between 11th and 15th Streets South, and street flooding occurred at 51st Street South and 129th East Avenue.
