Wind Report Description: Isolated severe thunderstorms developed in eastern Oklahoma during the evening of July 21st. Strong thunderstorm winds downed trees and power lines in Cleveland and 5 miles southeast of Ponca City, and trees were blown down in Osage and 6 miles north northwest of Skiatook. Thunderstorm winds gusted to 60 to 65 miles an hour in Hominy and to 58 miles an hour at an automated observing site 5 miles west northwest of Eufaula, and several large tree limbs were blown down in Porum. Nickel size hail fell at Hominy and 5 miles east of Hominy, and dime size hail fell at Eufaula Dam 6 miles west northwest of Hoyt. The storms also produced very heavy rainfall which resulted in street flooding in Cleveland.
