Wind Report Description: Microburst caused extensive damage to the Lake Arrowhead resort area. Several boat docks were destroyed. Part of a roof was taken off a cabin/house. A Garage under construction was completely destroyed. Damage was about 3 miles wide long starting near the resort and extending south and southwest. The length of the damage area was unknown due to range land extending beyond the resort. There were also six, very large-mature cottonwood trees uprooted with heavy damage to the remainder of the trees in the area.

Wind Report Description: Microburst occurred...centered about 4 miles north of Pratt. The impact point was 4 miles north of Highway 54 and 1/2 mile east of Highway 281. Area extended 3 miles northwest through southwest with the greatest damage at the Pratt airport. Five buildings had considerable damage...7 with major damage and 18 had minor damage. Debris was carried for miles past the impact point. A John Deere tractor had a 16 foot long 2x4 impaled into the engine compartment. Three sprinkler irrigation systems were destroyed.

Eyewitnesses told of the onset of rain, then heavy rain, followed by hail the size of a dime to quarter size, and then the strong winds.

Tornado Report Description: An F1 tornado touched down about 4 miles northwest of New Columbia and moved southeast for about 2.5 miles, taking down trees, damaging a couple of barns, and flattening some corn. The tornado was embedded in a large area of downburst winds, running roughly parallel to Interstate 80 from 8 miles northwest of New Columbia, eastward into White Deer Furnace. Hundreds, even thousands, of trees were downed just south of I-80 on Sugar Valley Narrows and White Deer Pike into White Deer Furnace. Three barns had portions of roofs removed, and the west side of a metal silo was buckled in by the force of the wind. Several small sheds were blown over and one house received damage from falling trees. Some siding from another house was peeled.

Tornado Report Description: An F1 tornado with peak winds probably less than 80mph touched down on high ground just west of Patton, uprooting trees along a 100-yard path through the town of Patton, and east along a 7-mile track of intermittent damage to the small community of St. Augustine. Most of the damage in Patton was confined to snapped and uprooted trees. Just east of St. Augustine, the storm lifted the east side of a barn roof off the support beams and set it back down. Buckwheat flattened south of the barn had evidence of vortex swirls. A large pen containing game pheasants had plastic netting blown off and rolled up in a ball to the north of the pen. A couple dozen pheasants were killed, and a fair number flew away. Just north of that farm, a 2100 gallon water drum was lifted off a platform and blown about 1/4-mile east. At the farm east of St. Augustine, eyewitnesses told of the approach of the weather, with lightning, then rain becoming progressively heavy, followed by hail, then horizontal rain and high winds. One person said rain blew in the open windows on every side of her house.
