Hail Report Description: Golfballl to hen egg sized hail was reported by the Warren county Emergency Manager in Arcola. Damage was limited to several sections of town but included banged up siding on homes, broken windows, car damage, and roof damage. Several cabbage fields were reported to be so badly beaten that they looked like "cole slaw". In addition, a loud roaring noise was heard with some funnel clouds reported in the region.

Wind Report Description: As a thunderstorm raced ENE near 50 mph into Western Robeson County, downburst winds destroyed two mobile homes and injured a person in the Hidden Valley area near Maxton. The storm continued on, causing damage to power lines in Pembroke. An F2 tornado touched down at the Chavis Trailer Park on Moss Neck Rd, East of Pembroke, where 6 mobile homes were completely destroyed. Although there were injures and a death, a woman heeded the warning and left her mobile home before it was destroyed, escaping injury. The storm continued into the eastern part of the county, destroying 2 mobile homes in the Howesville community and then, further east, dropped an F1 tornado which damaged a house and trees. As the storm moved into Western Bladen County, an F2 tornado destroyed 6 mobile homes at the Monroe Trailer Park near Tar Heel. As the storm continued near White Oak, a home was damaged and 2 silos were destroyed. Tree damage occurred in the Northeast part of the county, near Ammon.
