This thunderstorm also produced a long track tornado across the same counties. Another microburst also occurred just southwest of Idabel, OK in McCurtain County. Numerous large trees were snapped and pushed over along the track in this county. Several barns were destroyed, a roof was blown off a barn, many shingles were removed from homes and several cars were crushed from fallen trees.

This thunderstorm also produced a strong tornado in McCurtain County, OK which moved into northeast Texas and a second, stronger microburst, southeast of Maud, TX. Numerous trees were snapped and pushed over while several homes, mobile homes, tier homes, barns, garages and outbuildings were damaged. The microburst ranged from 3.2 miles long by 2.3 miles wide and was tear drop in shape.

This thunderstorm also produced a strong microburst in McCurtain County southwest of Idabel, OK and again southeast of Maud, TX located in Bowie County. Numerous small trees and limbs were either snapped or pushed over along the track. No homes or other structures were in the direct path of this tornado.

Numerous trees and limbs were snapped or pushed over along the entire track. Several homes, mobile homes, barns, garages, and outbuildings were either damaged or destroyed. The primary damage from this event occurred southeast of Maud, TX and was also associated with a microburst with wind speeds approaching 100 mph. The microburst occurred along the east side of the tornado track.

The only structure in the path of this tornado was located next to the Highway 259 bridge which crosses the Red River into Bowie County, TX.. This tornado moved into Bowie and Cass Counties, TX.

There were a few broken trees near the Cottonwood River, but no damage was caused to any structure.
