Tornado Report Description: The tornado touched down just south of the intersection of State Highway 69 and County Road 32, which is roughly half way between the Havana community and Greensboro. The tornado then tracked northeastward, and lifted at the southwestern edge of the Talladega National Forest near County Road 29. Hundreds of trees were either snapped off or were blown down along the path.

Tornado Report Description: The tornado touched down just east of the Greensboro Municipal Airport. It then tracked northeastward, crossing County Road 24, County Road 28 and State Highway 14. Several trees were knocked down or were snapped off at the Lakeview Country Club. The Hale County Jail suffered roof damage. Additional trees were blown down along the path.

Tornado Report Description: The tornado touched down just west of County Road 35, between County Road 24 and County Road 73, which is about 7 miles southwest of Greensboro. The tornado then tracked northeastward, and crossed County Roads 24 and 28, State Highway 14, County Roads 21 and 19, and State Highway 69. The tornado lifted just north of County Road 4 near its intersection with State Highway 69. One barn was destroyed and several out-buildings were damaged or destroyed along the path. Hundreds of trees were either snapped off or blown down. One tractor and one automobile were damaged.

Tornado Report Description: The Demopolis tornado touched down approximately 3 miles southwest of the city of Demopolis, just west of Maria Avenue and south of U.S. Highway 80. The tornado then tracked north northeast and crossed U.S. Highway 80. Several large trees were knocked down and the fallen trees produced varying degrees of damage to homes. Additional large trees were knocked down and subsequently destroyed several mobile homes. One apartment complex sustained significant roof damage. A few mobile homes were rolled over. The tornado continued north northeast across the western part of Demopolis snapping trees along the path. One warehouse had an entire wall collapse. Several floats being prepared for the holiday parade were thrown some distance and damaged on Lake Demopolis. The tornado lifted around just east of U.S. Highway 43 at Lake Demopolis.

Tornado Report Description: Tornado touched down among manufactured homes just north of Old Lake Road and tracked across an area of more substantial homes and businesses along NC Highway 87. There were 13 homes (mobile and brick) destroyed and more than two dozen damaged. Damage was rated as F3 due to construction of structures that were damaged and destroyed - if structures were better constructed the damage may have been rated higher. The wind speed was estimated to be around 200 mph. As the tornado tracked north of NC Highway 87 toward the county line, the tree damage was rated as F1.

Tornado Report Description: NWS survey found an intermittent damage track consistent with a tornado. Damage was mainly limited to trees, although fallen trees severely damaged several mobile homes on Bell Farm Rd at Dogwood Estates. A metal garage was also destroyed on highway 64. The most significant damage occurred near the end of the track, on Fraley Rd.|One mobile home was completely destroyed. Another mobile home was flipped off its foundation and another shifted several feet. A 62-year-old man was severely injured in one of the homes when a refigerator fell on him. He died on December 3 due to complications from the injuries.

Tornado Report Description: A survey conducted by the National Weather Service in Peachtree City, GA concluded that the F1 tornado that began in the northern portion of Fort Benning in Chattahoochee County continued just across the border into extreme southern Muscogee County before it ended. This portion of the tornado occurred within a completely rural area of the Fort Benning military reservation. Damage was confined to trees. One large oak tree at least three feet in diameter was uprooted, the top was broken out of hardwood tree, and several large limbs were twisted or broken off other hardwoods in the area.

Tornado Report Description: A survey conducted by the National Weather Service Forecast Office in Peachtree City, GA concluded that an F1 tornado had touched down at the intersection of Sightseeing Road and Lavoy Road in the northern portion of Fort Benning and traveled north-northeast toward the Upatoi Creek and the Muscogee county line. The tornado crossed just across the border into Muscogee county before lifting. Moderate damage was observed within the Main Post area of Fort Benning along a 150-yard wide, 1.5-mile long path. The majority of the damage occurred along Wold Avenue, where about 10 World War II warehouses were heavily damage, and 18-wheel truck was flipped over, and two vehicles were damaged from debris. Several trees and power lines were also down in the area. Six homes were also damaged in the McDonald Manor Housing Area from large downed trees and limbs. Nine minor injuries were reported in this area as a result of flying or falling debris.
