Intense winds produced by the severe storms downed trees and power lines across a good part of the county. The damage began around 9:40 PM EDT in Bath with additional damage in Nazareth, East Bangor and Wind Gap, where tree limbs and wires were down or caught in other wires with even whole trees downed. The most widespread wind damage was reported to be in Bushkill Township. The severe storms knocked out power to some 5,000 customers across Northampton County, which included 10 municipalities.
