Golf ball size hail was initially reported along U.S. 62/385 near the Gaines and Terry County line at 16:42 CST. By 17:22 CST, hail up to the size of nickels was reported northwest of Brownfield. Nickel size hail continued to accompany the storm northeastward to near Meadow by 17:39 CST.
