One un-anchored single-wide mobile home was pushed 5 feet from its original position, with the roof blown off and exterior walls partially collapsed. One double-wide mobile home had complete structural failure of a well-constructed outer wall and roof section. Most of the damage was in the high-end EF0 range, with a small pocket of low-end EF1 damage. Wind speeds were estimated between 75-100mph.

Tornado Report Description: A storm survey team determined that an EF1 tornado developed over Cochran road about four miles southwest of Grand Ledge. Though briefly weakening to EF0 status shortly after descent... the tornado regained it's EF1 status before finally lifting immediately east of the Eckert Plant in Lansing.||Some large tree limbs were blown down and a few spruce trees were uprooted by winds estimated to be up to 63 mph along Mulliken road and Needmore highway. More significant damage was noted on Cochran road north of Needmore highway. Numerous trees and limbs were blown down... a porch awning was blown off and a garage was completely destroyed. An EF1 tornado rating was assigned for the damage on Cochran road. ||The tornado continued on Strange highway briefly weakening to EF0. Multiple large trees were uprooted along Strange highway approaching M-100 (Hartel road). Moderate to significant roof damage was observed on four different homes heading north on M-100 where the tornado regained it's EF1 status. ||Dozens of large spruces and maples were uprooted on Mt. Hope highway |and four barns were destroyed. Significant roof damage to homes reappeared as well. A woman was killed when a large trailer was flipped on top of her in Delta township on Mt. Hope highway between Nixon and Guinea roads. ||The tornado continued toward a subdivision on the west side of Lansing. |Numerous large trees were uprooted on North Cambridge road and a few landed on homes. The country club of Lansing was also affected by downed trees and limbs as the tornado moved into far western Ingham county.

Tornado Report Description: A storm survey team in Osceola county determined that a tornado with peak winds approaching 110 mph struck an area from just northeast of Hersey to the Pere Marquette Forest. This corresponds to EF-1 damage on the Enhanced Fujita Scale. ||Damage occurred along an intermittent path about five miles long and up to a half a mile wide. The most intense damage occurred along Cedar road in the Pere Marquette Forest... where a half mile wide section of forest was flattened. Other significant damage occurred about four miles east of Reed City... where winds estimated at around 90 mph damaged a barn and trapped the occupants of a house until the day after the storm. ||The tornado occurred within a larger area of downburst wind damage that extended east northeast about 20 miles... beginning one mile northwest of Hersey to the Clare county line west of Lake George. Thousands of trees were snapped or uprooted and several barns and outbuildings were damaged by the winds.

Tornado Report Description: This is the continuation of tornado number 1 (of 2) to hit the Omaha metro area this night. Tornado number 1 crossed over from Sarpy county near 144th and Harrison Streets before merging with tornado number 2 just east of 132nd and Westwood Lane. From there the merged tornado continued northeast to near 114th and Shirley Streets. Tornado number 1 traveled at about 50 mph in Douglas county. Tornado number 1 produced EF2 damage in both Douglas and Sarpy counties. Although tree and roof damage was noted along most of the track, the area hardest hit in Douglas county was around 137th and Y Streets. A few homes had their roofs completely blown off in this area, while others had significant roof and siding damage. The tornado then hit a Walmart, Sams Club and Home Depot causing damage to each of those businesses after it crossed L Street.||Tornado number 1 first set down just southeast of 232nd and West Angus Road about a mile west of Gretna in Sarpy county. It traveled about 8 miles in Sarpy county before crossing into Douglas county.||The tornadoes spun up on the leading edge of a bow echo that gathered strength and raced through the Omaha metropolitan region. OPPD reported that 13,800 customers lost power from the storm. In total, more than 500 homeowners reported damage from the storm and according to FEMA, 7 homes were destroyed and 21 others sustained major damage.

The tornado produced mainly EF0 damage as it moved east, passing just south of Zorinsky Lake and just southeast of Oak View Mall. Tornado number 2 then merged with tornado number 1 near 132nd and Westwood Lane and then continued on to around 114th and Shirley Streets. Minor structure damage, tree damage and lifted shingles compromised most of the damage with this tornado. Although the track of this tornado in Douglas county was longer than Tornado number 1, the more significant damage occurred with the first tornado.||The tornadoes spun up on the leading edge of a bow echo that gathered strength and raced through the Omaha metropolitan region. OPPD stated that 13,800 customers lost power from the storm. More than 500 home owners reported damage.

Tornado number 1 started just southeast of 232ND and West Angus Road about a mile west of Gretna. A garage was demolished at this point, suggesting EF1 damage. The tornado moved east northeast at 45 mph and produced scattered EF0 damage in Gretna with tree and shingle damage noted. From there tornado number 1 continued northeast to near 156th and Giles Road. EF 2 damage was noted just southwest of that point with major roof damage to a home. The tornado then crossed over into the Millard area of Douglas county where it continued for about 3 more miles before merging with tornado number 2. Tornado 1 also caused EF2 damage in Douglas county with much of it concentrated in the vicinity of 137th and Y Streets.||The tornadoes spun up on the leading edge of a bow echo that gathered strength as it raced through the Omaha metropolitan area.
