In addition, the strong winds knocked a Chick-Fil-A cow off a billboard along LBJ Freeway in Garland. One accident occurred due to the debris on the highway.

Tornado Report Description: The cell which produced the Ridgeway Mobile Home Park tornado moments earlier, produced another brief EF0 tornado which impacted the Loblolly Bay residential community. The tornado toppled multiple trees, then likely moved over Peck Lake as a waterspout. Winds were estimated at 65 to 75 mph. A video of the circulation and debris was taken by a homeowner located one mile due south of the tornado.

Tornado Report Description: A NWS Storm Survey team confirmed a brief touchdown of an EF0 tornado within the Ridgeway Mobile Home Park in Hobe Sound. Winds were estimated at 65 to 70 mph. The tornado removed the roof from one mobile home and carried it approximately 50 yards downwind. Small portions of metal roofs were peeled back from three other mobile homes. Thirty eight additional mobile homes experienced minor damage to window awnings and carports. Two vehicles experienced damage due to movement by the wind into an adjacent structure. Three large palm trees were uprooted or toppled, and many smaller trees sustained damage. The tornado lifted just prior to reaching Highway A1A. DI3 DOD4 LB.

Tornado Report Description: A strong tornado rated as an EF-2 with maximum estimated winds of 125 mph moved across western portions of Plantation and Sunrise on the evening of October 18th. A total of 136 structures suffered damage, with about 20-25 of these sustaining significant to severe damage. A few mobile homes in the Plantation section of the tornado were destroyed with roof and wall collapse. The tornado intensified as it moved into Sunrise, damaging homes in the New Orleans Homes subdivision. Two concrete block homes sustained significant to total roof loss, and several other homes had significant roof, garage and window damage. Cars were damaged by winds and debris as well as uprooted and sheared trees. ||Most of the damage was in the EF-1 range, except for a two-block area of EF-2 damage in Sunrise at the New Orleans Homes subdivision where the highest winds were noted.||Despite the magnitude and extent of the damage, no major injuries were reported with only a few scrapes and cuts. Federal assistance was approved for residents in the affected area due to the severity and magnitude of the damage.

Tornado Report Description: Radar-detected rotation within a northeastward moving thunderstorm cell spawned a short-track EF0 tornado in Vero Beach Highlands. A NWS damage survey estimated maximum winds of 65-70 mph. An unoccupied home on 22nd Place SE sustained major damage, with part of the roof removed. A metal storage shed on a nearby property became airborne and landed in a neighbors front yard. Small branches broke from trees and shrubs were knocked down within a and light damage (mainly to soffits and due to impact from debris) occurred to other homes within the area. There were no injuries. ||Light damage extending one block north and south of 22nd place southeast with small trees damaged and metal storage shed blown off its foundation.

Tornado Report Description: A thunderstorm quickly intensified southwest of Indiantown and produced a brief, but high-end EF0 tornado in rural area north of the town center. A NWS damage survey estimated maximum winds of 80-85 mph. The tornado caused mainly light damage to a two-story home (several windows blown in, vinyl siding removed, soffit damaged), caused the roof of a pole barn to collapse upon itself, and totally removed the roof of an adjacent commercial building (VFW lodge). Several large tree branches were downed and one tall pine tree was uprooted. DI1 DOD5 LB, DI2 DOD2 EXP, DOD28 DI3 EXP.

Tornado Report Description: A tornado damaged a home and barn just west of Buckhead Ridge. Damage was done to windows and roof of the home. A formal damage survey was not done due to the isolated and relatively minor nature of the damage, but the tornado is rated as an EF-0 due to the extent of the damage noted. Time and path is estimated based on emergency manager reports and analysis of radar data.||This tornado was likely spawned from the same storm that produced a tornado in Lakeport about 30 minutes earlier.

Tornado Report Description: A resident reported damage to trees and a boat on his property along Rogues Road. Spotty tree damage was found along Ebenezer Church Road mainly in the form of snapped large limbs. ||Damage also occurred to a farm located off Midland Road near Old Windwright Lane. A metal roof covering on the rear of the farmhouse was peeled off and was later found in a field about 200 yards northwest of the house. ||A porch was blown off a residence at the end of Longstalk Lane. Numerous hardwood and softwood trees were snapped or uprooted near the residence. Tree limbs were damaged near Eustace Road and south of Catlett road.

Tornado Report Description: Tornado first touched down along Emmaus Church Road or Route 609 just into New Kent County north of U.S. Route 60. The NWS Storm Survey rated the tornado as an EF1 with winds estimated at 95 mph as it reached the Woodhaven Shores Subdivision on both sides of Kent Lake. According to county emergency management, over 30 homes were damaged in the Woodhaven Shores Subdivision on both sides of Kent Lake, primarily due to trees falling on homes. Damage was most extensive along and adjacent to Lakeshore Drive which surrounds Kent Lake. EF1 damage extended just to the north of Kent Lake and included two barns that were destroyed along Ashland Farm Road. The tornado then weakened to a high-end EF0 and turned northeast as it crossed north of Interstate 64. Damage at GW Watkins Elementary School included aluminum roofing panels that were popped off along with a few busted windows. EF0 damage was observed farther northeast with several trees downed or snapped off along Talleysville Road near Old River Road. The tornado lifted just before entering King William county.

Tornado Report Description: Tornado first touched down along U.S. Route 15 near the Historic Sylvania Plantation, which is part of the Green Springs National Historic Landmark District. The tornado continued to move across the plantation, first shearing off several hardwood trees before encountering the Sylvania Plantation home that was built in 1746. The tornado peeled the roof off the house while tearing the porches off both the front and back of the house. It also uprooted several trees on the eastern side of the house. The tornado then impacted the pool area on the far side of the house knocking down the fence and throwing pool furniture in multiple directions. The tornado continued away from the pool reaching a row of trees about one tenth of a mile away before lifting off the ground. The funnel was observed for several miles before exiting the county.
