Hail Report Description: NWS storm survey concluded that baseball to softball sized hail fell across Benavides causing damage to nearly every home and business in the town. Damage included broken windows, doors, roofs, and siding. The damage was confined primarily to the north and east side of structures. Vehicles were severely dented with large holes in windshields or completely broken out. One person suffered a head injury. The severe hail damaged 258 residences, 100 abandoned homes, and 700 cars.

Tornado Report Description: A tornado developed atop a ridge south-southwest of Sallisaw. The tornado destroyed several wood-framed barns and snapped large tree limbs on top of the ridge then moved southeast damaging a permanent home and snapping power poles as it crossed Highway 59. Based on this damage, maximum estimated wind in the tornado was 100 to 110 mph.

Tornado Report Description: A storm damage survey team consisting of officials from the National Weather Service in Jackson, KY and the Ferguson Fire Department confirmed damage from an EF-1 tornado in the Ferguson community. Touchdown occurred at a warehouse building on Waddle Street. The tornado traveled approximately 700 yards, destroying the warehouse, damaging the roofs of several homes and downing multiple trees along it's path. The warehouse building destroyed in this tornado received roof damage from the January 30th tornado as the two tornado tracks overlapped for a short distance.

Tornado Report Description: A National Weather Service survey team determined that an EF-2 tornado that touched down in Meriwether County continued into Pike County. A home sustained minor roof damage, had both doors blown out, and four front windows were damaged. One barn was completely destroyed, and another shifted several feet off its foundation. A pontoon boat was thrown into a third barn. Two neighboring houses sustained minor damage, one to the roof and another to the garage. IT traveled east to southeast before lifting one mile west of Concord in Pike County. Total path length was 13.35 miles and up to 300 yards wide. Tornado Report Description: The tornado initially touched down in Marshall County in Boaz and moved eastward into Etowah County about a half of a mile west of Oak Drive where it snapped and uprooted several pine trees. From there it moved to the east and crossed Broadwell Road and overturned a tractor trailer and a camper. The tornado continued eastward, snapping and uprooting trees along the path. Several barns and small outbuildings sustained roof damage. As the tornado crossed Chumley Road, two mobile homes were overturned while more trees were uprooted. The most extensive damage occurred as the tornado approached Rowen Road. A mobile home was lifted and overturned leaving one person seriously injured and two others with minor injuries. In this same area, two additional mobile homes were destroyed. As the tornado crossed Brow Road, a one story brick home had one third of its roof removed and wind-blown debris was observed on all four sides of the home. The tornado continued further east for approximately 300 yards before dissipating as it approched Sand Valley Road.

Tornado Report Description: A tornado tracked east from Marshall County along County Road 381. The tornado struck the Kilpatrick community along County Road 479 injuring 7 residents of mobile homes. Very large hardwood trees were snapped near the base. Numerous power poles were snapped at the base. Several mobile homes sustained significant damage with at least two completely destroyed. Several convectional homes sustained minor to moderate exterior damage in this area as well. At this location, the tornado was at its maximum width (220 yards) and intensity (estimated winds of 125 mph). The tornado continued to move east producing substantial damage to a large livestock building near the intersection of Highways 68 and 168. Metal from the roof that was damaged at the Sand Mountain Stockyards was blown down the road for around a mile. The convenience store at that point suffered minor roof damage. A semi truck pulling a trailer on Alabama 168 from the Family Dollar store chain was knocked onto its side by the high winds. The tornado continued to parallel Highway 68. A car wash sustained significant structural damage. A mobile home was flipped and destroyed near the intersection of Highway 68 and County Road 9004. The tornado narrowed and lifted near the intersection of Highway 68 and County Road 113.

Tornado Report Description: A tornado touched down along County Road 539 north of County Road 50 in the Fyffe and Shiloh communities. Minor tree damage was noted in this area. An unoccupied chicken house also sustained damage. Near the intersection of County Roads 50 and 43, a restaurant sustained roof damage and a carport was flattened. Further east, another large farm building sustained major damage. Along Highway 50, additional chicken houses were damaged or destroyed along with trees snapped and uprooted.||The most significant damage occurred along Traylor Street just north of Highway 50/Grove Oak Road. Two large, well constructed, farm buildings were completely destroyed. One of these contained metal trusses and the posts were ripped out of the ground. Debris was thrown several hundred yards and large debris was embedded into the ground. A nearby home sustained minor structural damage. The path widened to 350 yards with estimated maximum wind speeds of 120 mph. The tornado began to narrow and weaken as it moved further east as it crossed County Roads 523 and 578. The tornado lifted near County road 72/Tumlin Road norht of Highway 75.

Tornado Report Description: A tornado produced EF0 to EF1 damage, with wind speeds up to 100 mph along a path beginning along Hambey Road just east of McVille Road. Several softwood and hardwood trees were either uprooted or snapped along Hambey Road. As the tornado moved east, several wooden power poles were snapped. Several farm buildings were destroyed with debris strewn over 100 yards. Additional tree damage was noted along County Roads 381 and 82. The tornado crossed into DeKalb County east of Gaines Road.
