Tornado Report Description: A TORNADO TOUCHED DOWN 5 MILES ENE OF SYCAMORE AND LIFTED 4 MILES WEST OF CHATFIELD. THE TORNADO DAMAGED THE ROOF OF A BARN NEAR CR 100. AS THE STORM MOVED EAST... A LARGE DAIRY BARN WAS DAMAGED AND MOVED. FINALLY AS THE STORM PUSHED EAST... SILO BOLTS WERE RIPPED FROM CONCRETE AND PUSHED ONTO RAILROAD TRACKS. A TRAIN MOVING WEST COLLIDED WITH THE SILO. A TWO-CAR GARAGE WAS DAMAGED. A CONCRETE BLOCK WAS BLOWN UP INTO A TREE AND SEVERAL TWO BY FOURS WERE IMPALED INTO THE GROUND AND ROOF OF THE HOUSE. THIS DAMAGE WAS NEAR AND ALONG SR 19 NEAR THE WHEELING AND LAKE ERIE TRACK. MAXIMUM ESTIMATED WINDS ARE 85 MPH.
