The tornado then advanced north... crossing over Billy Stiles Road and the Black Lake. Damage was mainly to trees and thankfully there were no injuries. The tornado lifted just to the north of Five Forks Road after a path of around 5.75 miles.

Tornado Report Description: A brief EF-1 tornado with estimated maximum winds near 95 mph touched down along Wallace Lake near the Desoto/Caddo Parish line... and quickly moved northwest across a large wooded area just south of the Southern Trace subdivision... where multiple hardwood trees were snapped and uprooted. The tornado then moved across the southwest fringes of Southern Trace along and behind Saint Francis Way... where numerous small trees were uprooted... large branches were snapped... a few fences blown down... and some minor shingle damage was noted to several homes. The tornado ripped the metal roof off of the guard station at the entrance of Southern Trace... before lifting shortly thereafter over a wooded area between Wallace Lake Road and I-49 just south of Southern Loop. The estimated tornado path length was 1.86 miles... with a path width of 150 yards.

Most of the damage was to hardwood and softwood trees. Significant structural damage occurred in this neighborhood with numerous trees falling on homes and vehicles. Some homes did have small portions of their roofing uplifted as did an older retail building. The tornado traveled in an arcing path from east to west and ended just before Beverly Park. Peak winds were 90 mph.

The tornado dissipated shortly after crossing Sand Hill Road. Max winds were around 95 mph. Path width was 400 yards. Path length was 3.9 miles.

Tropical Storm Beryl spawned this EF1 tornado with peak winds of 95 mph... which started along the Red River just north of the confluence with the Sulphur River in SE Miller County. A metal barn near the start point did suffer the loss of a few metal roof panels. Otherwise... the remainder of the damage consisted of uprooted and snapped hardwood and softwood trees with numerous large limbs downed. It generally travelled in a meandering north and northwest direction... crossing Interstate 49 and US Hwy 71... just NE of the Sulphur River Wildlife Management Area. Path length was 6.39 miles with a peak width of 619 yards.

A brief EF-1 tornado with peak winds of 105 mph touched down near the intersection of Highway 70 and Dogwood Trail in Webster Parish about 7 miles to the NE of Minden. Damage was mainly seen to trees... but in one field... the damage was very significant with over 15 trees snapped or uprooted. The tornado path length was 1.53 miles... with a path width of 345 yards.
