Approximately 200f each roof was damaged... removed or peeled back. Front porch pillars were moved or ripped away... fences damaged and one garage door blown in. Splatter on the east-northeast sides of the homes was noted as well as multiple pieces of wood embedded into the ground. Its possible this tornado started on the west bank of the river but not enough damage was found to extend it.

Tornado Report Description: The Boyce Tornado began between HWY 49 and HWY 1 in Rapides Parish... where it downed several power lines. From there it continued northeast where it damaged homes as it crossed HWY 1. It then continued northeast into the town of Boyce... damaging several more homes... destroying outbuildings... and damaging various trees in the middle of Boyce. The tornado then continued further northeast... crossing the Red River into Shreveport’s CWA. Weak tree damage was found by WFO SHV on the north side of the Red River associated with this same tornado. The tornado damaged trees along Aaron Slayer Plantation Rd in Grant Parish... until it lifted around 11:57 AM.

Further investigation has informed that this tornado actually occurred on March 04 at 18:10Z. This brief EF-1 tornado crossed near the intersection of Hammock Road and Highway 506 in the very southern portion of Caldwell Parish. Damage was mostly to trees... although a few structures received lower end damage. Peak winds were 100 mph and width was 200 yards. The path length was limited to approximately half a mile due to ground access limiting survey access by the team.

Tornado Report Description: A strong EF-1 tornado with estimated maximum winds near 105 mph touched down in the Sabine National Forest along Forest Road 144... and tracked northeast across the forest and Highway 87 just south of the Six Mile community. The tornado was strongest near the intersection of Forest Road 144 and Forest Road 144A... where numerous softwood trees were snapped and uprooted. Additional trees were snapped and uprooted as it crossed Highway 87 between Forest Road 182 and Shawnee Shores Drive... before eventually lifting in a cove of Toledo Bend Reservoir near Shawnee Shores Drive. The estimated path length was 5.71 miles... with a path width of 625 yards.

Tornado Report Description: The tornado began roughly 0.5 miles west of HWY 287 where several trees were damaged along with some outbuildings. The tornado then continued northeast where it damaged a home... an outbuilding was destroyed... and several pine trees were snapped at the trunk. Two by fours were impaled into the roof of the home as well. Roughly 300f roof was peeled off of the home. The tornado then continued east towards HWY 287 where tree damage was found near Little Cypress Creek. This was the end of the Little Cypress Tornado.

Tornado Report Description: This brief EF1 tornado touched down in the North Highlands neighborhood of North Shreveport. It initially began along Booth Drive and move east snapping the trunks of a couple of hardwood trees and downing large limbs from softwood trees. A few metal roof panels were also removed from an outbuilding LA Hwy 3049/Dixie Shreveport Road. The tornado end point is placed here as no additional damage was located. Much of the land between this point and the Red River consisted of open fields. No consistent damage track was located east of the Red River in Bossier Parish. Path length was 0.92 miles. Max. width was 225 yards. Peak est. winds were 93 mph.

Tornado Report Description: This EF1 tornado began just east of the Texas/Louisiana State Line in Caddo Parish and generally moved east along Blanchard Furrh Road. Most of the damage consisted of snapped and uprooted softwood trees and a couple of snapped hardwood trees. A metal truss tower and a pump station was bent in half to the ground. The tower appeared to have been twisted from the north and then bent towards the east. The tornado lifted just before the intersection of Blanchard Furrh Road and Springwood Lane. Path length was 3.91 miles. Max width was 114 yards. Peak est. winds were 93 mph.

This tornado first began along Hwy. 259 in far southwest Bowie County near the Sulphur River. This tornado travelled east northeast for nearly 20 miles before lifting along the south side of New Boston or near the Red River Army Depot. The tornado snapped and uprooted several trees along its path. Some structures were damaged as well including the metal roof covering from a home and other metal frame structures.
