MOST OF THE DAMAGE AS SNAPPED AND UPROOTED TREES. THE MOST SIGNIFICANT DAMAGE WAS TO A AN ATTACHED GARAGED OF A HOME WHERE THE EXTERIOR BRICK WALLS SIMPLY MORTARED TO THE FOUNDATION COLLAPSED AFTER FAILURE OF THE GARAGE DOOR LED TO THE ROOF BEING REMOVED. The tornado was near a broad area of straight line winds caused by a downburst in northern De Soto Parish.
