Tornado Report Description: An EF-0 tornado briefly touched down in Enfield. This tornado was associated with the same storm that produced the EF-1 tornado in Windsor earlier in the day. There was scattered tree damage that began on Glen Arden Lane, then crossed Hazard Avenue and continued northeast to Heron Road, ending at Taylor Road.

Tornado Report Description: An EF1 tornado touched down on Hayden Station Road in Windsor and continued moving northeastward through portions of Windsor Locks and across the Connecticut River, ending in the 200 block of Main Street in East Windsor. ||The roof was blown off a warehouse on Hayden Station Road in Windsor. Numerous trees were downed near Raymond Road and Alicia Terrace, including some that were downed onto cars and houses. Shingles were blown off houses on Preston Road and Gaylord Road. As the tornado traveled northeastward, tobacco tents were ripped off the tobacco fields and some tobacco was flattened. This can be seen from Interstate 91. Several eyewitnesses reported debris being lofted into the air and noise that sounded like a freight train as the tornado moved through. While much of the damage was rated EF-0, there were several small areas of EF-1 damage. EF-1 damage included a sports bubble collapsing at Sports World in East Windsor and blowing onto Interstate 91, blocking two lanes on the southbound side. Additionally, reports were received of a semi truck that was blown over on Interstate 91 south at exit 44 in East Windsor.

Tornado Report Description: A brief tornado touchdown occurred on the east side of Rockwell Park and had an intermittent damage path, mostly at the tree top level, to the end of High Street. Straight line winds appeared to be the main cause of damage in Bristol, however, damage from a small, brief tornado was also evident. Trees felled in different directions, tree tops twisted off, and shearing off of tree tops were the nature of tree damage viewed by NWS Storm Survey team members in the area of High and Blakeslee Streets. This is consistent with low end EF1 tornado damage. Damage was consistent with a maximum wind speed of about 90 mph. Numerous trees were downed, bringing down wires and power lines, as well as moving a garage off its foundation, blowing lawn furniture several houses down the street, and crushing an above ground pool. The Imagine Nation Museum which was very near the damage path recorded a wind gust of 67 mph on their anemometer.

Tornado Report Description: A narrow tornado moved through Wethersfield. The NWS storm survey team found damage beginning near the intersection of Nott Street and Park Avenue and continuing southeast into a cornfield along Elm Street, between Maple Street and Interstate 91. ||Along this track, numerous trees were downed. One of these trees fell onto a car on Park Avenue, trapping a person. Another fallen tree blocked the exit ramp of Exit 24 on Interstate 91. Many of these trees were large, healthy oak trees that were sliced in half, sheared off at their bases, or uprooted. One tree fell onto a house with such force it split the house in half. Two of the residents were inside the house at the time, but escaped without injury. One injury indirectly occurred as a result of this tornado, when a split branch high up in a tree fell the following day, striking a person.||In the cornfield at the end of the tornado track, cornstalks were found flattened in a criss-cross pattern. Farther into the cornfield, cornstalks were found to have not been impacted at all by the winds. ||At a sporting goods store along the tornado track, a kayak inside the store was sucked out onto the road through a front window.

Tornado Report Description: Numerous trees were knocked down at their bases intermittently along an easterly track one mile long and 200 yards wide. Along the north flank, trees were snapped off half-way up and some were twisted. National Weather Service investigation determined that an eastward moving microburst was accompanied by a weak tornado that touched down intermittently along its northern flank. The twisted trees displayed evidence of convergence toward a central track. A small gazebo was damaged, but otherwise there was no property damage to houses observed.
