The tornado continued across Sarasota Bay as a waterspout and moved east and onshore near the intersection of U.S. Highway 41 and Boulevard of the Arts in Sarasota. The tornado sporadically snapped tree limbs before it lifted and dissipated near the intersection of Seventh Street and Central in Sarasota.
