Tornado Report Description: An EF1 tornado touched down along Highway 82 just north of GWO. The tornado tracked ESE across portions of Carroll County before lifting at along County Road 32. The tornado had an estimated path length of approximately like 14.5 miles and a maximum width of approximately 1100 yards. The most intense damage occurred along the Highway 82 corridor... where peak winds were estimated to be 105mph. Thousands of hardwood and softwood trees were snapped or uprooted... with several falling onto homes... fences... and utility lines. Widespread power outages were reported due to numerous downed power lines. Additional damage included roof damage to several single-family residences... as well as the destruction or significant damage to multiple sheds and other outbuildings along the tornado’s path.

This tornado started near County Road 121 and damaged a few softwood trees... then continued northeast across County Road 100 where an increase in intensity was noted as more trees were snapped along with roof damage to a home. The tornado continued northeast across County Road 90 and County Road 16 and snapped more trees along the way. As the tornado approached Highway 17... a notable change occurred. Intensity increased and the tornado grew in size. Additionally... just to the northwest of the path... multiple downed trees were noted along county road 92 and 93. Here... a surge in the RFD evolved and aided in the growth and intensification of the tornado. Tornado Report Description: This tornado started near the intersection of State Hwy 433 and Hebron Rd southwest of Lexington. A couple of trees were snapped at the point. The tornado continued northeast across Hwy 17 were a few trees were snapped. The tornado continued northeast where it caused significant damage to a couple of mobile homes on Arenia Mallory Rd along with several trees and a few power poles snapped. The tornado crossed Hwy 12 where it caused some roof damage to a business along with numerous snapped trees. The tornado continued northeast to Doe Rd and this is where it reached its widest point. Hundreds of hard and softwood trees were snapped along with 3 wooded high tension poles. The tornado was rated an EF3 at this point. The tornado continued northeast to Bethesda and Bowling Green Road where hundreds more trees were snapped along with some roof damage to a home. The tornado crossed Hwy 55 just west of West snapping trees and several power poles along the way. The tornado continued northeast to just south of Beatty where it merged with another tornado. Maximum winds were around 140 mph. Total path length across Holmes and Carroll Counties was 23 miles.

Tornado Report Description: This tornado crossed through a rural area with no structures. Many trees were blown down along the path and a power pole was blown nearly to the ground along Highway 51. The tornado crossed Highway 51 about one half mile south of the Beatty Community, and downed hundreds of trees as it tracked northeast. Maximum winds were around 115 mph. Total path length across Holmes and Carroll Counties was 9 miles.
