The churchs foundation was lifted off the ground... but is still standing. Additional damage around the church included a metal garage that was caved in... an outbuilding that was lifted off the ground... damage to a metal roof... and several uprooted and snapped trees. Power lines were also reported down between Summersville and Raymondville. Time approximated from radar.

Tornado Report Description: This tornado is a continuation of the Howell County tornado. A National Weather Service storm survey revealed that an EF-2 tornado entered southeastern Texas County from northern Howell County. The tornado tracked across rural portions of southeastern Texas County, destroying one home and several outbuildings. Two injuries occurred to the residents of the home. Numerous trees were snapped or uprooted. The tornado eventually tracked into west central Shannon County.
