Tornado Report Description: A tornado developed in open fields near the intersection of 625 Avenue and 725 Road... and moved quickly east. The tornado damaged many trees... flipped pivots... and destroyed at least two large farm sheds. The damage along the track was somewhat sporadic at times... and this concentrated area of tornado damage was embedded within a much broader area of 60 to 80 mph winds in the downdraft regions of the parent thunderstorm. The peak width of the tornado was determined where it traveled through a long line of trees and gave evidence to the most intense focused zone of winds being approximately 200 yards wide.

Some tree and outbuildings were also damaged along its 3.75 mile path. The tornado initially touched down just in Johnson county, but most of the track was in Nemaha county.

Tornado Report Description: This tornado touched down 5 miles west-southwest of Cook where it damaged trees and overturned a center pivot. A farmstead near there had 6 to 8 power poles snapped along with tree damage. From there the damage path was mostly east-northeast. About 1.5 miles west-northwest of Cook a home sustained significant structural damage, with the roof lifted completely off and 2 of its anchored exterior walls destroyed. An attached garage was destroyed as was a large shed. Materials from the house were blown at least a quarter of a mile away. Along Highway 50 several trees were knocked down in the Cook Cemetery. The tornado appeared to weaken as it crossed Highway 50, but still snapped trees and power poles along Road 738 north of Cook and caused tree damage near the football field. The tornado lifted about 1 mile east-northeast of Cook.

A path of mainly tree limb damage continued east including a few uprooted trees which blocked county roads. The tornado lifted about 2.75 miles east of Sterling.

Tornado Report Description: This tornado formed about 6 miles west of Wymore at 433 pm CDT (1533 CST), tracked northeast to around 4 miles east of Beatrice where it caused f2 damage, then tracked just south of Adams and crossed into Johnson county 2 miles southeast of Adams, or 4 miles southwest of Sterling, around 515 pm CDT. In Johnson county the tornado tracked another 5 miles before dissipating or lifting 3 miles north of Sterling. This tornado formed from a supercell which then became rain-wrapped taking on a heavy rain (hp) supercell characteristics.In Johnson county the average damage path width was around 150 yards. The tornado caused f1 damage 2 miles northwest of Sterling where some roof and tree damage was noted. In all 6 houses received damage in Johnson county from the tornado and several outbuildings were destroyed. The storm also knocked power lines down which resulted in loss of power for some customers for up to 8 hours.
