The Earth Fire Department initially reported golf ball size hail two miles north of Earth. Golf ball size hail was additionally reported three miles northwest of Springlake at 19:56 CST. Skywarn spotters continued to report quarter size hail southwest of Fieldton at 20:51 CST, and penny to quarter size hail northwest of Littlefield along U.S. Highway 84 between 21:55 and 22:19 CST. Severe wind gusts also accompanied the storm.
