The highest wind gusts of 75 mph were estimated along Old 29 Hwy and Elrod Ferry Road where dozens of trees were downed... including several onto homes. 60-70 mph gusts continued south across Hwy 29 and crossed into Elbert County in the Montevideo area. A church in the Rock Branch community sustained roof damage with a portion of sheet metal peeled off. The strongest gusts subsided as the storm moved down Ruckersville Road. |
