The tornado moved to the northeast... snapping more trees along its path. As the tornado moved across Bookers Mill Road... dozens of trees were snapped or uprooted. In this location... the metal roof of 3 log cabins was peeled back... and a chapel was shifted off of its foundation. The tornado continued on its northeasterly path... crossing County Road 30 and County Road 32... snapping or uprooting more trees. The tornado lifted just west of State Highway 83.

Tornado Report Description: The tornado started just west of State Highway 83 about 1 mile southwest of Midway... AL in Conecuh County at EF-1 intensity where several trees were snapped in a rotating pattern. The tornado then moved east and crossed Mixonville Rd just south of the community of Mixonville where multiple pine trees were snapped and uprooted. The tornado continued eastward and crossed the intersection of County Road 33 and Osprey Road where additional trees were snapped with some slight debarking was noted on a few trees. The tornado peaked in intensity at estimated EF-2 strength (115 mph) as it crossed into Butler County where numerous pine trees were snapped in a wide swaths along portions of State Highway 106. A manufactured home was rolled near the intersection of State Highway 106 and Interstate 65. Trees were downed in several neighborhoods in the community of Georgiana before the tornado likely lifted as the circulation dissipated just east of Georgiana.

THE TORNADO TOUCHED DOWN AGAIN ON WILCOX RD... PRODUCING MINOR TREE DAMAGE AND DAMAGING A TIN ROOF ON A NEARBY STRUCTURE. IT IS POSSIBLE THE TORNADO PRODUCED SPORADIC MINOR DAMAGE BETWEEN THE INTERSTATE AND THIS FINAL POINT.

Tornado Report Description: A weak tornado first touched down just west of Paul. The tornado moved northeast and passed just east of Cohassett. The tornado moved across U. S. Highway 84 at the Conecuh and Covington county line. This is a rural area and the only damage the tornado caused was to trees. Some of the trees landed across the rural roads and had to be moved before anyone could drive on the roads.
