Wind Report Description: Corrects previous tstm wnd gst report from 3 WNW Whistler. A swath of straight-line winds was evident via high resolution Planet satellite imagery that occurred with a line of severe thunderstorms east of Pleasant Grove and north of Highway 84 near Van Hoover West Road. An approximately 670-yard-wide swath of tree damage was evident west of Van Hoover West Road generally in the 60 to 70mph range. The swath of winds narrowed but became more intense east of the road with peak wind estimates around 80 to 90mph.

Tornado Report Description: High resolution satellite imagery revealed an EF1 tornado began along Waynesboro Shubuta Road tracking east-southeast for roughly 2 miles. The tornado primarily damaged forest reaching a peak width of 200 yards just east of Waynesboro Shubuta Road. A couple older outbuildings appeared to have been damaged to destroyed via high resolution satellite imagery. The tornado lifted shortly after crossing Yellow Creek Church Drive.

Tornado Report Description: This is the third of three EF1 tornadoes within the Pleasant Grove area... with these final two tornadoes featuring a unique interaction as they continued to the east. This southernmost tornado began southwest of Old Highway 84 Loop causing minor sporadic tree damage. The tornado intensified to EF1 intensity as it began to cause more significant tree damage visible via Sentinel 2 satellite imagery southwest of Daniel Roney Drive. The tornado merged into the northern tornado path along Daniel Roney Drive. Due to uncertainty on which tornado remained dominant towards the northeast... this tornado track is estimated to have ended just after crossing Daniel Roney Road as it turned northward into the other tornado track. The peak width is also estimated at approximately 50 yards based on the damage corridor southwest of Daneil Roney Drive.

Tornado Report Description: *** 4 INJ *** The tornado began in the forested area near Earl Pitts Rd before rapidly strengthening as it crossed highway 84. A single vehicle was rolled in a parking lot near highway 84 prior to the tornado destroying several newer chicken farm buildings. The tornado then continued north northeast across G&P farm rd where the tornado reached peaked intensity. At this location a single wide manufactured home was tossed roughly 50 to 100 yards and completely destroyed. The occupants were thrown from home resulting in two injuries at that location. A single-family wood frame home lost roughly 50 percent of its roof. The failure point of the roof was likely due to an open carport. Further up the road... a second manufactured home was rolled where two other injuries occurred. A few snapped tree trunks were noted along Riley Jordan Rd as the tornado continued northeast. The tornado paralleled Gravel Pit Rd resulting in minor tree damage and structural damage to a home. The roof of this ho

THE TORNADO CROSSED DENHAM COMMUNITY ROAD WHERE IT BRIEFLY INTENSIFIED TO REMOVE HALF THE ROOFING MATERIAL OF A MEDIUM SIZED STORAGE BUILDING. SEVERAL GOAT HOUSES WERE ALSO DESTROYED. A FEW TREES WERE SNAPPED ALONG THIS ROAD HOWEVER DAMAGE QUICKLY BECAME SPOTTY AFTER THE NORTHEAST BEND OF DENHAM COMMUNITY ROAD. THE END POINT IS ESTIMATED AT THE TREE LINE PRIOR TO THIS BEND JUST PAST THE EF1 DAMAGE POINT.

THE TORNADO BEGAN ON PINE OAK LAND ROAD AS AN EF0 WHERE IT UPROOTED SEVERAL SOFTWOOD TREES. THE TORNADO CONTINUED NORTHEAST WITH A FAIRLY DISCONTINUOUS PATH UNTIL IT REACHED GLITTER LANE. IT WAS HERE THAT THE TORNADO INTENSIFIED AT THE INTERSECTION OF GLITTER LANE AND JOINER STREET WHERE MULTIPLE SOFTWOOD TREES WERE SNAPPED. IT REACHED AARON DRIVE SHORTLY AFTER CONTINUING TO SNAP SOFTWOOD TREES AND CAUSING MINOR ROOF DAMAGE. THE TORNADO THEN TURNED MORE NORTHEASTERLY FROM HERE CROSSING MILL STREET AND UPROOTED MULTIPLE SOFTWOOD TREES. ONCE THE TORNADO REACHED MISSISSIPPI DRIVE IT CAME ACROSS A SMALL CAR WASH WHICH HAD A PARTIAL CANOPY COLLAPSE OF ITS EASTERN SUPPORTING CINDER BLOCK WALL DUE TO THE STRONG WIND LOAD. THE TORNADO THEN RAPIDLY STRENGTHEN AGAIN TO ITS PEAK INTENSITY OF EF2... 130 MPH SOUTH OF JIM PITTS ROAD. THIS DAMAGE WAS ESTIMATED BY SENTINEL SATELLITE DATA AS AN EXTENSIVE DAMAGE SCAR WAS NOTED WITH ALMOST COMPLETE DEFORESTATION OCCURRING SIMILAR TO OTHER TORNADOES THAT WERE RATED AT 130 MPH. THE TORNADO THEN WEAKENED AS IT APPROACHED JIM PITTS ROAD FROM THE SOUTH AND LIFTED BASED OFF SATELLITE DATA.

Tornado Report Description: The NWS Survey team found evidence of a strong tornado that tracked across north central and northeast Wayne County. The tornado tracked from the west to the east at around 50 mph. A single family home located on Waller Ridge Road and several single family homes and mobile homes on Spinkes Hayes Road were destroyed. Minor to moderate damage occurred to numerous other residences from Spinkes Hayes Road to Matherville Diamond Road.

Tornado Report Description: The tornado touched down near Mallie Bonner Road southwest|of the Denham area where it snapped a few pine trees. The tornado|strengthened quickly and widened to nearly 200 yards wide as it crossed|Denham Progress Road just north of Joe Taylor Road...destroying a single wide|mobile home...damaging the roofs of several wood frame homes...and snapping|or uprooting numerous large trees. The tornado quickly weakened and|dissipated as it crossed Joe Taylor Road. This tornado was produced by the|same supercell thunderstorm that produced the Clara tornado a few minutes|earlier.
