Tornado Report Description: *** 1 INJ *** NWS Storm Survey concluded that a low end EF-3 tornado with peak wind speeds near 140 mph started 7 miles west northwest of Mountain View and travelled east for a little over 6 miles before lifting about 1 mile northeast of Mountain View. This storm severely damaged three homes and completely destroyed a manufactured home. Multiple outbuildings were also heavily damaged or destroyed. The tornado also uprooted or snapped numerous trees.

Tornado Report Description: A NWS storm survey revealed that an EF-0 tornado briefly touched down approximately 6 miles west northwest of Mountain View. One half of a roof from a barn was blown off to towards the west. A 12 by 7 foot greenhouse was rolled over to the north. Approximately 20 trees were snapped in various directions. Winds were estimated up to 80 mph.

A National Weather Service storm survey revealed that an EF-2 tornado entered southeastern Texas County from northern Howell County. The tornado tracked across rural portions of southeastern Texas County, destroying one home and several outbuildings. Two injuries occurred to the residents of the home. Numerous trees were snapped or uprooted. The tornado eventually tracked into west central Shannon County.
