Tornado Report Description: An EF-1 tornado with estimated maximum winds near 110 mph touched down along the Red River bordering Miller and Lafayette Counties... and tracked northeast across CR 57... snapping and uprooted several trees. The tornado then tracked over open farmland for several miles before crossing Highway 160 just west of Gin City... where 7 wooden power poles were snapped. The tornado continued northeast crossing Highway 360 where it snapped 3 more wooden power poles and 2 trees before lifting. The tornado path length was 7.81 miles with a path width of 250 yards.

Otherwise... damage was mostly to trees in the form of uproots... trunk snaps... and downing of large limbs.
