Wind Report Description: Straight line winds blew a shed down and knocked power lines down near Manila. An awning was blown off of a gas station on Main Street in Manila. Several limbs and a large tree was knocked down as well. Fifteen power poles were broken and thrown about a 100 feet into a field between Milligan Ridge and Manila. In addition, tree tops were damaged in the area.

Tornado Report Description: A tornado briefly touched down west of County Road 305, approximately 3 miles southeast of Manila. The tornado tracked north-northeast for about 2 miles and moved across Mallard Lake. The tornado track was within Big Lake Wildlife Management Area. A few trees were snapped as a result of the tornado.

Tornado Report Description: The tornado began just west of Manila and tracked northeast. The tornado demolished or heavily damaged several homes including some mobile homes. Two children were killed in one of these mobile homes. The tornado continued northeast flattening a discount department store and an gas station/food mart. Three small factory and machine shop buildings as well as a furniture store were destroyed. Several other buildings were seriously damaged. The tornado reached the main residential section of Manila destroying several homes. Numerous trees and power lines were also blown down.
