IT THEN PARTIALLY DAMAGED THE ROOF OF A SINGLE FAMILY HOME AND TORE OFF MUCH OF THE ROOF OF A GARAGE AS IT DOWNED SMALL AND LARGE TREE LIMBS AND UPROOTED A TREE. THE TORNADO CROSSED COUNTY ROAD NW 1019 AND THEN UPROOTED A FEW MORE TREES BEFORE IT LIFTED IN A FIELD. THE TORNADO PATH WIDTH WAS 30 YARDS... WITH A PATH LENGTH OF 0.64 MILES.

Tornado Report Description: An eyewitness reported seeing the tornado on the ground in an open area north northwest of Mount Vernon and there were numerous reports of a funnel cloud from that area. Only a few trees sustained damage in the area between Hwy. 37 and County Road 1030. The tornado was rated an EF0 with a path length of nearly one quarter of a mile and a path width of 50 yards. Winds were estimated between 60 and 65 mph.
