Maximum intensity of 88 mph was found on Jim McNeil Loop Road where several large tree limbs were down over a compact area. The tornado tracked southeast and produced sporadic damage on Dedicated Road where a horse trailer was flipped and more trees were damaged. After passing over Old Pascagoula Road... additional tree damage with downed limbs and snapped trees were found on Wells Road West. Satellite data will be examined in the coming weeks to confirm the starting point of the tornado... which is likely further to the northwest in wooded areas over Jackson Creek east of Grand Bay Wilmer Road. The start point was difficult to determine as the end point of another tornado and the start point of this tornado were close in proximity to each other. However... convergence patterns and radar analysis did suggest that these were indeed two separate tornadoes rather than one tornado. The tornado snapped a couple of softwood trunks and continued sporadically uprooting trees as it approached Brothers Lake Club Rd where it reached peak intensity of 90 mph near and around Brothers Lake Club Rd. The tornado then crosses Mason Ferry Rd and tracked into the forest before crossing Alabama 217 and finishing near Cleborne Rd.

This is likely where the tornado ended. The tornado may have reached peak intensity within the woods; however... the peak intensity that survey crews were able to find was around 85 mph.

Tornado Report Description: The tornado touched down along County Road 96 near Meinhardt Loop Road West... where a few trees had their tops snapped. The tornado continued to the northeast into an area that ground survey crews could not get to between the start point and Sam Lewis Road. This stretch was likely where the tornado peaked in intensity as Sentinel 2 satellite imagery depicted substantial damage to several segments of the forest likely in the form of tree snaps and uproots. Once higher resolution imagery becomes available the tornado intensity can be reassessed. It is also in this stretch the tornado peaked in width reaching close to 200 yards wide. The tornado weakened based on satellite imagery and ground survey crew as the tornado crossed Sam Lewis Road where a metal outbuilding lost its roof and had its walls collapsed inward. No other damage was observed in this location... leading to a lower rating at this location. The tornado continued to the northeast... crossing into Washington County... where more

This tornado began near USA South Drive where some outdoor portable restrooms were blown over facing due northwest to west along with some metal fence barricades. The tornado continued northwest to USA North Drive where more metal fence barricades were knocked over facing west. A single softwood tree uproot also occurred here facing due north. A radar indicated tornado debris signature was also evident at this location lending credence to this damage being done by a tornado.

Tornado Report Description: A brief EF0 tornado began just west of the Mobile Regional Airport solely in forest based on radar indicated tornado debris signature. This tornado continued east across the southern portions of the airport property. No visible damage was evident on the western side of the property... however on the south side of the circulation numerous palm fronds were removed and thrown east-northeast. At Joseph Drawns Drive... a large oak branch was snapped off to the south of the longer-term parking. The entry and exit gates to the parking were broken and surged westward indicating the tornado crossed on the south side of this location. The tornado likely crossed over or just on the south side of the USPS building throwing numerous small to large tree limbs onto the adjacent road and knocking over a light pole on the backside of the USPS property. The Davis weather station located at the NWS Mobile office measured a peak wind gust of 55mph on the south side of the tornado circulation. There is no i
